  • Our certified contents adjusters receive proprietary training to handle contents claims from start to finish. This includes initial contact, inspection, contents list, documentation, policy verification, price evaluation and settlement.
  • Inspect damaged personal property on/off site to determine cause of loss.
  • Examine personal property (contents) damage to determine liability of insurer.

  • Verify and analyze data used to settle claims, with the goal to minimize supplements.

  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

  • Inspect property, considering factors such as market value, location and building or replacement costs to determine appraisal value. 
  • Prepare and maintain current data on each parcel assessed, including maps of boundaries, inventories of land and structures, property characteristics, and any applicable exemptions. 
  • Identify the ownership of each piece of taxable property.

  • Ensuring that insurance has been obtained and maintained by the Applicants who previously received disaster assistance. 
  • Primarily provide technical expertise in evaluating insurance related issues by providing technical support to the Public Assistance Coordinator (PAC) Crew Leader.
  • Reviewing insurance settlement information, performing insurance adjustment during project worksheet development and completing insurance adjustment after project worksheet development.
