DEBORAH A. JOHNSON
President & Chief Executive Officer
 

Deborah Johnson has worked since she was 12 years old. Second to the oldest of seven she has always strived to help, assist and bring about a positive change in her life, family and community. She along with her daughter own & manage two companies; Contents Adjuster Team, LLC and The Property Adjuster Specialists, LLC.

Deborah, worked in Aerospace for Hughes Aircraft, EDS division and McDonald Douglas where she laid the ground work in opening the channels of communication between the factory floor and the executive management teams. Served in the Army National Guard and discharge is Honorable. Member of the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW), Local 136 for Daimler/Chrysler. Active in union activities, MLK Annual Fund Raisers, Walter & May Reuther UAW Family Education Center and ran for union office of Recording Secretary.

Over the last eleven years she has skillfully operated as an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster, Field Support Manager, Trainer/Class Room Instructor/Facilitator, and File Examiner for Homeowner, Personal Property, Landlord, Manufactured, Mobile Home, Catastrophe, Large Loss and Supplement claims.

She has worked with and is trained by companies such as, Allstate Insurance, State Farm Insurance Company & Encompass Insurance Company.

She worked on the – NYS Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Recreate NY Smart Home and Small Business Property Programs as a building assessor.

Deborah has strived to and obtained industry standards certifications: State Farm Wind & Estimating; FEMA Flood, Two Story Steep/Harness & Rope Team, California Earthquake NICTA Catastrophe Fraud, NICTA Investigating Organized Groups, GHS and OSHA Hazardous Communication and holds Property & Casualty Adjuster licenses in multiple states. Proficient in all Microsoft software applications. Advanced in Xactimate (including XactContents) estimating programs.

CHARLEEN HOSKINS
Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Charleen Hoskins is a Professional Property & Casualty Independent Claims Adjuster originally licensed in 2006 by the Texas Department of Insurance and holds a variety of other state licenses. With over a decade in the profession, Ms. Hoskins has developed an extensive background in multiple areas of claims handling and disaster recovery with emphasis in Office Support Manager, Trainer/Classroom Instructor/Facilitator, and File Examiner for Homeowner, Personal Property, Landlord, Manufactured, Mobile Home, Catastrophe, Large Loss and Supplement claims.

Ms. Hoskins graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2002 after pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science.

Ms. Hoskins has a wide range of catastrophe assignments behind her varying from disaster relief assistance, personal property (contents) inspections, residential structure inspection and assessments, commercial inspection quality assurance, and commercial estimate quality review. She has achieved industry standard certifications for FEMA NFIP, GHS and OSHA Hazardous Communication, California Earthquake, NICTA Catastrophe Fraud, NICTA Investigating Organized Groups, Liberty Mutual Estimating, American Family Estimating, State Farm Wind & Estimating, and Two-Story Steep/Harness & Rope Team.

In 2013, Ms. Hoskins worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development on the NYS Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Recreate NY Smart Home and Small Business Property Programs as a building assessor and assessment reviewer.

Prior to the co-founding of Contents Adjuster Team, LLC in 2013 and becoming an Independent Claims Adjuster in 2005, Ms. Hoskins was an active member of the Communication Workers of America – Texas State Employees Union (CWA-TSEU), Local 6186 for The Texas State Employees Union as a union organizer.
